Irtyu has a light aether affliction from the S-Rank Ixtab turned lightwarden struck him with a teleportation spell empowered by the Flood of Light. He was born with black hair with deep navy highlights and reddish-brown eyes. Being infected with an abundance of light aether lightened his hair and eyes and covered his body in white freckles.This makes his aether composition heavily umbral (light/stasis) meaning his spells when cast umbrally do way more damage than his astral-aligned spells. Doing too many astral spells can make him sick, possibly starting the lightwarden/sin eater transformation.He wears special enchanted jewelry pieces to balance his aether intake and leakage. His wedding ring takes in ambient aether to balance his umbral and his necklace absorbs his excess aether and converts it to a more balanced version for him to absorb. He also wears a special warding scale that keeps him from absorbing too much aether at once so he doesn't experience another aether rage.Ixtab as a lightwarden attached a piece of her soul shard to Irtyu when he went to the source. She remained dormant inside him until he grew strong enough to withstand her. She's the source of his light-aether imbalance. They have a pact (similar to reapers with their voidsents) where Ixtab as as his 'avatar' to unlock abilities he can use when wielding a scythe made of pure light aether. He rarely uses this method as Ixtab's influence isn't the best to have around. Using his aether, he can create weapons when he doesn't have one on hand.The name 'Irtyu' came from the tribe of people he lived with inside the caverns of the Temple of Qarn. It means blue in their ancestors' language (HC; Egpytian). Mani is for his native tongue (Ronkan; HC Old Norse/Norwegian). His name means 'Blue Moon' because of his blue hair and the moon freckles he has all over his body.His lunar theme and relations to the stars come from his tribe's main worship was the Moon before the Flood of Light. It is also a hint to his unsundered Ancient who specialized in the studies of astrology, celestial bodies, and space.

  PERSONALITY.   Irtyu is a fun-loving, open-minded, sassy, free soul who enjoys doing things his way. He has been described as chaotic neutral. His views on the world differ from the average, but he does have his own morals he follows. He will lend his aid if it can save and he can end lives if he feels the demand for justice. Sexually liberation is his motto, his promiscuous and confident nature helps draw in people from all walks of life. He has his flaws such as being quick to anger and easily being influenced by his emotions. If he believes to has been wronged, he holds grudges and can be rather stubborn. Sometimes his mouth gets him in trouble as he is unapologetically brash, and not many can handle how bold he can be with his words.  BACKGROUND.   Irtyu Mani (born as Vabian of the Ma'natie) is from the Rak'tika Greatwoods, a huge, vibrant forest located on the First Shard, on the continent of Norvrandt. He grew up well-loved within his tribe, believing he was on the right track in life. However, he didn't agree to the strict gender-conforming traditions his tribe practiced, he was punished by being exiled to be a Wood Warden against his will. He served as a Warden until the Flood of Light calamity came. Due to the warping aether affecting the forest the the creatures around, Irtyu was caught in a blast from Ixtab, the S-Rank in the Greatwoods was corrupted by Light. This blast doesn't kill him, instead, it transports him to the Source; specifically the land of Thavnair.Irtyu lands in Thavnair with amnesia from the excess of light aether his body was made to absorb. He was found by a Thavnarian merchant who 'adopted' him and took him traveling with him as he sold his goods across the realm. Irtyu will travel across Thavnair, picking up the dancer job as a means to make more gil for his adoptive merchant caretaker. Greed overtakes the man, which serves as the catalyst for years of abuse for Irtyu. Not knowing who he was, and where he came from, Irtyu was dependent on the merchant for everything. He didn't know anything else, so he had to endure the mistreatment. He would escape the abuse through another tramatic event. Being made to test aetherical experiments for some alchemists in Thavnair, his light aether sickness was pushed too far. This made Irtyu enter an aether rage, where his strength grows and his lack of awareness for friend and foe diminishes. During an aether rage, he slaughtered indiscriminately. That day he killed nine alchemists and the merchant caretaker that has been abusing him for years. When he came to, he escaped Thavnair in blood back to the land of Eorzea.After his crimes in Thavnair, Irtyu lays low in Eorzea. He moves from Vylbrand to Thanalan instead, noticing that many Vieras are migrating to the desert lands. During his travels, he would find himself bonding with more people. This time around he spends some time with a tribe of people claiming to be descendants of civilizations from the War of the Magi. They take him in believing his potent, rich reserves of umbral aether mean he can wield magicks without harming the land. They were located within caverns that went deeper underneath the Temple of Qarn. These people would care for Irtyu as one of their own and he enjoyed living with them. An event would happen where he spent a great amount of his aether reserves, enough to clear the aether blocking his memories from the First Shard. This prompts Irtyu to leave this tribe in search of answers, heading the Ul'dah.During his occupation within the walls of Ul'dah, Irtyu lived a humble and spiraling life down a dark path. He used the skills he gained over the years to support himself, attempting to gather gil by showing off his looks and the dancer skills he possessed. He wasn't any closer to answers about him coming from a different world, but this world had something to give him. This is where he met his husband, Robbin Vesstir who swept Irtyu out of the fast track to rock bottom to explore the rest of the Source together.
